Overall, it's a pretty fun game for an inexpensive roguelike. Of course, it's noticeably lacking in variety: I'd like a bit more music tracks to keep the game from getting a bit dull, and some kind of storyline to bring the gameplay to a close. I'd like a bit more clarity in some of the effects and mechanics, but the current state is quite acceptable - even with random blind tries, I quickly grasped a lot of it. Ultimately, it's just a storyless roguelike for now.
Of course, we can talk a lot about adding new items, spells and NikNaks, but in the long run, all of this may appear without player input. The game already has content that can be explored in 5-10 hours at most - some builds, item combinations, and creature abilities. There's a lot of interesting synergy here. But for now, the game is in Early Access, which comes with a lot of challenges for the developer and some uncertainty about its future.
I liked what little I saw. It's definitely not a bad game, and improving all aspects of it could add depth and variety to the experience. Hoping for that, I wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of fun little roguelikes.
