A surprisingly interesting little tactics game. The lower budget is definitely felt everywhere, the level layouts are reused 3-4 times each, the enemy variety is pretty low and the campaign is very short (beat it in 8 hours). Despite that, I still enjoyed what I had played and the interactions between abilities felt good to abuse. If this was a more polished and longer game, everything would probably have gotten a balance patch, and while some abilities really deserve it as they destroy the combat, making you alpha strike the entire map, they're still fun to use.
The definite highlight of the game is the line of sight system, you're probably familiar with it if you've played the old DOS X-COM games, but essentially your soldiers need to see the enemies to hit them well, and managing the sightlines is a pretty important part of the game.
