Judgement: Not Recommended

View review on Steam

You know, sometimes you want to go back and play some old flash style nonsense based off of Qix. And it's... alright. But not alright enough to recommend (sorry devs). I'd give it a neutral rating if Steam let me. Unfortunately, the game starts giving you puzzle levels where you have to start in a specific spot and slowly wall off territory along a pre-planned route by blocking the outer edge with impassable objects. And these are real tedious. Just let make my own nonsense path and try to cut the level in half.

The hitbox of your character is deceptively chonky, too. Which makes threading the gaps between blocks a little frustrating. Weirdly enough, the completely exaggerated, hammed up, campy dialogue was almost as entertaining as the game. The VAs seemed like they were having fun with it. And it rubs off on you. Buy it for a buck and try to speedrun arcade by cutting every level in half with your first line.
