Judgement: Not Recommended

Starts out strong but falls apart quickly due to numerous irritating bugs, INDUSTRIA's not a game worth looking at. The visuals are top-notch as this runs on Unreal Engine, but that's about it. As you progress further in the game you'll find your weapon options severely limited thanks to forever being short of bullets, with the default axe only getting you so far versus basic enemies. Yes, that means you can expect to speedrun some areas to avoid enemies and conserve ammo - not something that's conducive to exploring the gorgeous abandoned city much of the game's set in. Enemies don't have to face you to kill you, either - I was wiped out by a bot looking at a brick wall well below me, his SMG never once turned my way. I'd love to see where the story's going but I'm not sure I have the patience for it.

Those who like to explore areas before moving on, whether to soak in the lore or to 100% any collect-a-thon achievements, will be disappointed to note the random bugs. Notes you can read on one visit cannot be picked up the next. That key you picked up to unlock something later in the game? Vanished sometime in the past two levels despite your not having died. Going by statistics the achievements do work, it's just the triggering of them which is *somewhat* problematic.

Avoid unless received as a bundle extra. The story's interesting but technical issues mean INDUSTRIA would've been better off left on the drawing board.
