It is good at start as you try to get gold in each race and beat your own time to improve. First chapters and levels are fun and easy to finish but hard to master. I like the idea of a retired hero toy being needed again to save the world. The idea for a game is simple but also nice and it was fun to run as fast as you can as a fat retired superhero toy. The game can also be appealing to people that like to break records and improve their own times in runner games. This game also have some nice graphics and I liked that each chapter got its own theme.
After 3 hours of playing this game I got so bored and annoyed with it I didn’t even want to finish it. This game is just a very basic runner with many mechanics that are not explained at all and I often had to randomly try to do what the game wants me to do in certain spot to finish the levels. Also in Feet in the Sand chapter last 2 levels are just so annoying that they just made me quit the game. You have to do very precise jumps in a way that you didn’t have to do in any of the previous levels and chapters and this game has no real info what to press to do the jump in that way that is totally different from other 3 ways you used in previous levels. It is basically making you restart a level hundreds of times until you menage to do what the game expects you to do or you get extra lucky with pressing buttons randomly and you will skip that annoying part of the level.
To tell the truth all you need to play this game is WASD and spacebar and it makes the game look like some mobile port. It also looks strange that positive reviews are from people that wrote 1-5 reviews in their whole life but also played this game for 1000+ hours while the game can be completed in under 10 hours according to HLTB or from people that played less than 2 hours or even 1 hour and are praising the game and developers.
This game is just not for me as it requires you to do the same thing over and over and over again just to improve by a second or to pass the level. For me this game felt like a boring work that you hate and not like a game that you have fun with.
