The game is fun but I fundamentally misunderstood what kind of racing game it was. I thought "Hey, I used to like racing games, and I car customization a la Rocket League. Lets give it a shot". This game is not that. This is graphs and charts, adjusting the angle of your sway bar. Downforce, toe-in angles, bust out my calculator to find coefficient of friction to optimize tire air pressure. Or it can be that kind of game. But I'm not that kind of racer.

I can't fault the game for not being what I thought it was. It's not pick a race, hold down right trigger, drift and race try to get first place. Even in the very start of a new career I have to feather the right trigger and only ever depress it by like 40 percent or you go too fast and can get caught just spinning in circles. But I see other reviews saying its meant for a steering wheel. Which I believe. A controller has too limited range of motion to try and smoothly make turns. I can't even keep the midrange cars straight on the track. I don't think I'll even see the super sport cars, let alone win a race with them.

It's good, its fun, it runs on a low end computer. I'm not car or racer enough to fully appreciate what I'm sure it could offer. I'm going to tell my pit crew to blow up my tires like balloons, drive off the california highway, and float in to the ocean. Imma go play Mario Kart.
