There is much much more to this game than I had initially thought. I realized this the first time I saw a shop at Richters (spelling) or the not quite homeless man on the west side. So many crafting items and consumables. I just wanted to find what the main health item was. Turns out its not one of the 8 kinds of cocaine in the game.

The story is great, however, playing the game feel like a struggle. Maybe its intentional, like you're meant to be opposing a superior enemy or a fruitless endeavor. I'm constantly out of cigs (the main currency) just trying to stay at full health. The inn takes about 40 cigs (If nobody else has rented the room), you can camp for about 30 cigs (if camping supplies are in stock), or you can buy a few health restore shots if you can find them.

There is a day system that uses your rations, but I don't think its a part of the UI and I don't recall seeing it in the menu. I just know I click around trash piles and after enough searches or interactions I've used a ration and now I'm mildly exhausted. So I have to rest. So I have to pay. I felt forced in to trying to find enemies and explore dangerous locales just to find items to hock to keep from having penalties on skills from being tired.

I'm still enjoying the time playing, but it definitely feels like there is a large man with a club behind me all the time. Maybe I just missed something about the time management system? Or like I said maybe its intended to be a big of a struggle. I'd still buy it but for probably 20 cigs instead of 30.
