Its a good game. Its leaning towards really good, but its not a great game. I can recommend someone play it in good faith that has a desire for platformers. Some of the worlds seemed a little bit long and maybe sprawled in too many directions. I felt like I was keeping track of paths I took in a Metroidvania. At one point I played the same cave level with green laser beams shooting out of statues for 10 plus loops of the tiny area before looking up a guide. Turns out there was a door in a hut which gets you to the rest of the level. I had a hard eye-roll, but I might have missed a scene after a glitch directing me to take that bath.

Speaking of the glitch sections, idk their purpose. I see a lot of people are ragging on them and unfortunately I agree. Some of the levels it is hard to tell foreground/background dressing from what you can actually walk on/will damage you. If you start Pinball 1, and hold the spring down to max and let go, the ball automatically will drop right in to the middle of the flippers and be wasted. Well, it will break the 1 safety box you get, and then any other full power launches just drop right in the middle. I don't know who added in pinball and decided to punish you for thinking its good to have speed and power on your launch.

But the game looks great. So much in fact that I had to put in on much lower settings than I thought I would need for my computer to run it smooth. But my rig is older so there's that. Controls felt good, different guns were interesting and multiple characters. 20 bucks might be a little much but maybe you like run and gun platformers more than I do.
