Good things:

This game is fun for first 3-4 hours and first 2 difficulties/levels are a good mix of fun and challenge. The game was build upon a good idea and I like that touching other pixels make them join you and build a bigger better “ship” firing multiple bullets in different patterns. You also have to rotate your “ship” all the time to not let enemy bullet hit your main starting pixel as letting your enemy hit other pixels is basically your only way to “dodge” anything.

Bad things:

Imagine a game where all enemies look the same, have different colors but that colors change during gameplay and their look and their color or their formation will never tell you what their attack patterns are before they don’t shoot at you multiple bullets. I think this game RNG is the worst I have seen so far. After you play the game for some time you notice that almost everything depends on RNG. First 2-3 waves will mean you will either die or collect the best shooting pixels and have good time later. If after first 15 seconds you know if you should play or suicide to restart it means RNG is bad. Sadly sometimes even if you have good pixels collected the waves can cover everything in bullets and there can be many lasers and bombs to instantly kill you and if you are larger than few pixels dodging most of the time is impossible. The worst thing is that if bullets hit some of your pixels that were connecting your main pixel to some other pixels these pixels will fly away shooting at you at the same time making you get hit by even more bullets.

Some pixels have attacks that are great against you but are weak or useless for you like rotating lasers as you would have to get close to enemy to hit them with any lasers and be hit by bullets during flying near them or when you have pixels that fly and leave bullets in place behind them as you would need to fly up and down all the time to leave the trial of bullets and be hit by enemy bullets at the same time.

After first 3 hours I had enough of the music and game sounds in general as after few hours they are just starting to get annoying and to not quit the game I had to mute the game and play some music on youtube.

Most good reviews are written by people that were idling the game for cards or played couple of hours and just gave up on the game after the difficulty spike. The more you play the more holes you see in the game and the more boring and bad the game seems. Only about 5% of people playing this game got more than 1/3 of achievements and that says something.

Conclusion

Good idea but bad execution and mechanics. A bullet hell game with no option to efectively dodge most bullets build mostly on bad RNG.

Overall score 3.5/10
