I've only ever played a similar game to this (Marble Duel) which looks superficially similar to Sparkle 2, but I prefer the gameplay of Sparkle more than the "turn-based" gameplay of Marble Duel. The Quest/campaign was fairly simple and I managed to complete all 90 "days" in one sitting over a few hours. Good hand-eye coordination is important as the speed of the orbs slowly increases as you progress. I love the strategic gameplay elements of earning and choosing a maximum of 4 enchantments (out of 16) to your slinger and picking up "power-ups" to help you out in later levels against the speed increase and more orb colors so the difficulty curve isn't so steep. The "story" was forgettable though. Graphics and music are average. I would still recommend this as a simple 2D/linear match-3 puzzle game for beginners. I'm looking forward to the newer Sparkle games as well as older classics like Zuma's Revenge and the Luxor series.
