I really love the aesthetics of the game! Its like the old games and plays smooth.

I have big issue with 2 things - rubber banding and transitions between areas.

Rubber banding is the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ing junk in racing games, I have no idea why they keep using it in racing games. It ruins the fun and removes any immersion from the game.
Transition between areas when you drive is not smooth like in the old game Outrun, its just switching between backgrounds which also break immersion.

I want to give neutral score but I will give negative because rubber banding ruins the fun.
You are expected to slipstream behind cars but that also ruins the immersion so both things need to go and just keep it like a racing game - you have to drive properly and take corners properly in order to be faster than the others.

Edit: Even after learning how to drift in the game its still terrible. There must be a way to remove rubber banding. Also drifting must have separate button. It hurts your fingers to try to drift with these controls and its hard to do it on time when corners are so tight.
